*Leaked report suggest the former Zimbabwean batsman has resigned as Director of English Cricket

*His resignation is thought to be directly linked with breakdown in relationship with Kevin Peitersen and not the Ashes defeat
BBC reported that Andy Flower is to leave his role after overseeing the 5-0 Ashes whitewash by Australia.
Appointed in 2009, Flower led England to three successive Ashes series victories and the World Twenty20 in 2010 but has paid the price for their disastrous showing down under.
The England & Wales Cricket Board were expected to make an announcement on Flower’s future next week but the news has leaked out earlier than planned.
As a Zimbabwean batsman, he a very successful career rising to the top of batsman world ranking.
